Virgo Dogs Sign
By Anna Lynn Sibal
The Virgo dog is a huge stickler for cleanliness and is very hygienic, almost to a fault. Unlike many dogs who decidedly hate baths, the prissy Virgo dog cannot live without them and will even wallow in bubbles and suds. He likes being clean and smelling clean all the time.
The cleanliness of a Virgo dog is certainly not confined to his body. He wants the house he lives in to be clean all the time as well. A little dust he can tolerate, but he will bark like mad if his environments are strewn about with all sorts of mess. He will not rest until his own corner at the very least is clean and he will follow his owner around and yell at him until this is done.
If there are dogs that are hard to train and teach new tricks, the Virgo dog is not one of them. He is always eager to learn something new, and when he is taught a new thing, he will not stop practicing it until he gets it right. He is a perfectionist in that way. The Virgo dog is quite intelligent and takes a lot of pride in his ability to take in and learn new things.
Another notable trait that the Virgo dog has in possession is its desire for routine. He does not see routine as boring; in his mind, it is just the way everything should be. He wants to be fed on specific hours of the day, and at exactly on the hour of his choosing. He wants to be walked on a specific time of the day, and he will not mind it so much if he and his walker go down the same route over and over again. He will even indicate to his owner just how long he wants to be walked and will be eager to return home when the time is up.
The trait, however, that makes the Virgo dog stand out among the rest is his loyalty to his owner – as long as his owner is loyal to him in return. He will do anything and everything for his owner, even lay down his own life, as long as he is sure that his owner gives back a love that is equal to what is given.
If traveling is included in this year’s plans for the family of a Virgo dog, make sure that he is included in the journey. He will not appreciate being left alone or in a kennel with strange dogs; he would rather suffer the discomfort of being kept in a cage in an airplane’s section for animals rather than being left behind. If he cannot be taken along for the trip, he should be placed in the care of a friend or relative whom he knows and trusts.
The Virgo dog is not really a creature for solitude, but his owner should not be surprised if he finds his pooch wanting to be alone in his own corner when the cold months come. He will be back to normal when spring returns.
