Gemini Cats Sign

By Anna Lynn Sibal

The Gemini cat is an angel among domestic felines. She is remarkably obedient, more so than is usual among others of her species. A sensitive, perhaps even emphatic cat, it may seem that she can actually understand what is being said to her, to the point that she may sometimes meow back in response. She is a very charming creature, and she will keep her owners entertained with her antics for hours at an end.

As placid as the Gemini cat’s disposition may be, the Gemini cat nonetheless has a nose for trouble. She is a very curious soul; it can be claimed that the saying “Curiosity killed the cat” was coined especially for her, because certainly her curiosity can get her into a lot of scrapes than her owner could count. It could be tumbling into a bowl of cream that her owner forgot to put away. It could be chasing another cat through the neighbor’s meticulously cared-for flowerbed. It could be anything.

The Gemini cat also loves to hunt, simply for the joy of hunting. Her prey could be a mouse, someone’s pet hamster, a goldfish or that unlucky sparrow that happened to perch on the windowsill without noticing her. She will never eat her prey once she has caught it, though. What she will do is to lay it on the feet of her owner, like some kind of offering.

The Gemini cat is also a prankster. Her owner should not really be surprised should the Gemini cat just jump on her shoulder out of nowhere. She is not really fond of cuddling either, so her owner should never force her to sit on her lap if she does not want to.

This summer may find the Gemini cat in a sociable mood. She is usually friendly with other pets, but she would seem to be even friendlier during this season. It would not be unusual to find tomcats prowling around the lovely Gemini girl-cat and serenading her at night. It may count for a lot of sleepless nights this summer, but the Gemini cat may appear to be quite happy about it. Perhaps a litter of kittens can be expected soon afterwards.

The coolness of autumn may make the Gemini cat appear to wane in her affections as well, but it could only mean that she is becoming a little restless. If she snarls at her owner, her owner should not take it personally and should just leave her alone. If she wants to go out, she should be let out, lest she take her aggression and restlessness on furniture legs and rugs. She could also be craving for some nice tidbits, and she should be indulged every once in a while.

When the winter comes, all that restlessness would go away and she would even be more affectionate than she usually is. The normally adventurous and trouble-seeking Gemini feline may actually seek her owner’s lap and stay there for as long as she can. Winter is also a good time to introduce new pets with the Gemini cat. She would be more welcoming of them by then.
