Capricorn Dogs Sign
By Anna Lynn Sibal
The Capricorn dog is a creature that seems wise beyond his years. He seems to know all the right moves and his timing is almost always impeccable. The Capricorn dog appears to have an innate sense of what is considered to be proper behavior. He can be counted on to keep the other pets in the household, as well as the small children, in line when necessary. A short bark or a low, warning growl is often all it takes to make it so.
If living on a farm, the Capricorn dog makes for an ideal sheep dog or herder. His barking commands are readily obeyed by the cattle; in his watch, none of them will certainly go astray. As hardworking and industrious the Capricorn dog is, however, the problem with him is that he can be a slow starter. He is not lazy by nature, but there are times that he may need a push in order to get him to start working at his tasks. There are times nonetheless that no matter how hard one prods at the Capricorn dog, if he does not want to do what is being asked for him to do, he will not budge. The Capricorn dog can be so obstinate at times, and when he gets to that, he can be frustrating to his owner.
The Capricorn dog has a playful streak. If he is in the mood, he can perform amusing tricks that will certainly put a smile to his owner’s face. He is also able to keep guests and children entertained and occupied. There is hardly a boring moment when the Capricorn is in a playful mood.
Unfortunately, being moody is one of the Capricorn dog’s biggest flaws. If he does not feel cheerful enough, it is best to leave him alone and sulking in his corner. This happens most especially on the times that he thinks he is left out. The Capricorn dog can be a sucker for attention, and when he does not get the attention he wants when he wants the limelight, he sulks. Otherwise, he is a friendly dog who is popular with the other animals in the neighborhood.
With the Capricorn dog, being popular also means being a flirt. The girl-dogs all flock to him and even go crazy around him. He seems to take pleasure in being showered with their affection.
The Capricorn dog will experience a period of displacement this year. It could be because the family he is with will relocate to a new home, or the house he is living in is being remodeled. In any case, the Capricorn dog will seem to feel disoriented because everything that is familiar to him has disappeared and he is trying hard to adjust. His owners should patient with him at this time.
The winter months will find the Capricorn dog more vulnerable to the cold. It is important that he should be kept warm during these months to prevent any unnecessary trips to the vet.
