Cancer Cats Sign

By Anna Lynn Sibal

A cat that keeps an entire neighborhood awake all night with her loud mewing and caterwauling, as if she is singing to the moon, is more than likely to be a Cancer cat. That is because the Cancer cat loves the sound of her voice so much that she will even meow in tune to her favorite song when it is played on the radio. She will even sing her purring song while chilling on her owner’s lap.

Laps are where one will almost always find a Cancer cat. Cancer cats are perfect lap cats. They can stay there, still and content, for hours on the end. A lot of times, a Cancer cat looks so peaceful on one’s lap that it is sheer rudeness to dislodge her from her repose.

A Cancer cat is also often found asleep most of the day. That is because she is generally a nocturnal cat, a creature of the night. It is hard to rouse her and keep her awake during the daytime but come nighttime, she is at her most alert and awake. She would run around with her friend across the neighborhood’s rooftops, singing to the top of her voice and hunting.

Noisy that she is, a Cancer cat rarely gets into trouble. She never gets into fights with other cats because she is quite a timid cat. She shies away from fights and conflicts the moment she smells it. It is not because she is a scaredy-cat; it is more because of her shy and peaceful nature. But when the Cancer cat is cornered, she definitely snaps and fights back.

Inasmuch as a Cancer cat tries to get as far away from trouble as she could, she loves being the center of loving attention. She can be a real feline princess. She loves to be coddled and pampered; this is actually why she loves laps. Ignore her and she becomes moody and sulky. If she is scolded for anything, she whines and meows piteously and mopes around the house until her owner scoops her up and lets her rest on her lap again.

The Cancer cat is vulnerable to throat problems this year, especially when the autumn season comes. Her owner should try to keep her indoors when the cold months come.

Gastric problems may also bother the Cancer cat this year. She loves eating, especially the tastier types of tidbits, but she should not be allowed to eat more than she should.

If her owner wants to teach her Cancer cat a few kitty tricks, this year is the time to do it, as the intelligent Cancer cat would be more receptive to any instruction right now more than ever.

Another thing that this year may hold for the beautiful Cancer cat princess is the possibility of kittens. She might take it upon herself to chase after the tomcats, and the tomcats will not be able to resist her. The household that the Cancer cat lives in should prepare for her litter.
