Aries Dogs Sign

Just like the Ram that symbolizes this zodiac sign, the dog born under the sign of Aries is a born leader. He is not likely to take to other dogs – or other pets, for that matter – unless he is sure that he can assert his dominance over them. Just like any leader of the pack, the Aries dog will try to boss around the other dogs and pets in his immediate vicinity and will barely tolerate any pet that dares to question his status as head hound. The Aries dog is such a domineering dog that he will even try to assert what he wants over what his master wants for him. He is known to strain against his leash to run off by himself when he is taken out for a walk.
The Aries pooch is a born explorer. He loves sniffing out his territory, be it indoors or outdoors. The open grounds are the Aries dog’s element, and he is very likely to make a run for it the moment his master lets him out. Inside the house, on the other hand, the Aries dog will have his favorite corner or his favorite chair where he would just sit and chill out. He is not too fond of changes, so he will not like it if his master or mistress goes into a fit of rearranging furniture.
And yet, for all the domineering attitude and the stubbornness that is innate in the Aries dog, the Aries dog is a fiercely loyal and extremely trustworthy pet. While he does seek his master’s attention all too often, he is not really active in showing affection towards his master. But he will be the first pet to lay down his life for his master should his master be in some sort of danger.
This year is the year for reaching out and discovering new things, not just for humans born under the sign of Aries but also for pets. The exploring bug will hit the Aries dog especially hard this summer, so if he is let out, his master should expect him to disappear for hours on end just to inspect his territory. The master of the Aries dog will be hard put to find him during mealtimes or at sundown.
This would be a good time for Aries dogs to be taught new tricks. If the Aries dog is still a puppy, this year would be the perfect time to enroll him in obedience school. The Aries dog will be very receptive to new lessons shown to him by his master or trainer.
Come September, the exploring bug will have run its course. The Aries dog will want nothing but to recharge his energies and to relax. His master, however, should be on the lookout because all of the stress the Aries pooch was party to during the past summer months may cause him to fall sick. A visit to the vet may be necessary at this time.
The cold of the coming autumn and winter will make the Aries pooch a little frisky and flirtatious. If he is not restricted, his master can look forward to having a new batch of puppies with the coming year.
